RULES OF THE HOTEL
TOBACCO, DEGRADATION AND LOSS OF KEYS
We are a completely non-smoking establishment. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the hotel, including rooms. Implementation of Decree No. 2006-1386 of 15 November 2006 laying down the conditions for the application of the smoking ban in the affected areas. We reserve the right to take the payment of a fine of 400 € to any guest who has smoked in the room and refuse him access to the hotel in the future. We can not tolerate these abuses, because beyond the discomfort of our next client, it causes a complete cleaning of all the textiles in the room and a closure of the room for 2 days (hence a loss of exploitation).
We ask you to respect the places, as well as the decoration of your room and the common parts. In case of problem, the customer will have to incur civil liability.
During your stay, you are given a set of keys allowing you free access to the building and to your room. In case of loss, the repair will be charged 50,00 €.
By your reservation, you assume the entire responsibility of all persons in your group. Any damage caused by cigarettes or other reasons, will be charged on the credit card provided at the reservation, with a minimum of 100,00 €.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Please note that the reception is not open 24 hours a day.
The entrances are between 5.00 PM and 7.00 PM.
For any late arrival, we thank you for contacting us by phone so that we communicate the terms of access to the hotel.
The payment of your stay will be paid at your arrival.
The rooms are to be released for 11.00 AM the morning of your departure.
ACCESS TO ROOMS
Rooms are available from 5.00 PM and must be vacated by 11.00 AM.
(Beyond these times, the hotel reserves the right to charge you a supplement)
The hotel room is not intended for laundry or meals.
Our hotel is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We have two rooms on the ground floor but the shower rooms are not suitable.
THE RIGHT TO VISIT
The rooms are designed for two people. To ensure the security rules of the establishment, you must not in any case accommodate additional people.
It is served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the bedroom.
To respect the stay of other guests, be careful not to slam doors or make too much noise.
The hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Please ensure that you have locked your room before leaving.
If you wish, a safe is available at the reception.
Pets are not allowed in the property.
TERMS OF SALES
Any reservation to be firm and final, must be guaranteed by a credit card number with its expiry date.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking in case the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete.
All bookings are held until 19h, beyond which the hotelier may have the reserved room(s) unless the client has warned the hotelier of a late arrival.
All bookings are firm orders.
CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION
If you need to cancel or change your reservation after it has been confirmed, a cancellation fee will apply:
The hotel does not charge a fee until 21 days before arrival. Between 21 and 8 days before the arrival date: 50%. 7 days before arrival, 100%.
If you shorten your stay once you arrive, you will be charged at the normal rate unless the room can be resold.
Any cancellation must be sent by email.
In case of interruption of the stay, early departure or no show this will be worth the total cancellation of your reservation. There will be no refund, the stay is due in full.
If the cancellation is to take effect from the date of an oral communication, the written confirmation will expressly refer to it. All written documents received from the hotel with reference to the oral communication will dispense the guest from any subsequent re-confirmation in writing.
We remind our guests that the rules of the hotel apply to all bookings.
Accept the rent of the room at the price indicated is to accept the special conditions and the rules of the hotel.
MAJOR FORCE CASE
Any event external to the parties that is both unpredictable and insurmountable and prevents River Lodge from fulfilling all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract is considered to be force majeure. This is particularly the case in the event of a strike, insurrection, riot, prohibitions decreed by government or public authorities. It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends the execution of the obligations of River Lodge and that the other party bears the burden of the costs arising therefrom. In particular, customers will bear only the additional costs that could be incurred to allow the continuation of their trip, following the occurrence of a case of force majeure.
River Lodge reserves the right to cancel a reservation in the event of severe weather.
